Hey all,
Tableau has changed their licensing model. They now sell a bundle of Tableau products called Tableau Creator. This is pushing everyone to a server based model.
Any idea how or whether FIRST will continue to get a Tableau license in the kit of parts? Anybody heard anything?
I imagine that teams that want to take advantage of this would get a free Tableau Online account as well? Maybe?
I would like to challenge Tableau to jump in deeper! Provide a server with the connections to the FIRST API’s so students can immediately start playing with data from last year and thank about how it can be integrated this year.
First should be challenged to provide near real time data across the board for match scoring that can be used by scouting, but also by AI routines helping coaches in the drive station.
