I am the Chief Programmer (Lord Supreme Programmer, to be exact) for team 1410 and I was wondering how to do limit switches with the new Talon SRX, using the direct input on the top? Is there a certain method?

Be sure to update your firmware to latest (section 2.3). It’s required in the FRC rules when using CAN bus.
We still need to do that, I’ll make sure that happens tomorrow.
