I see where you can use a cancoder as a remote sensor for a falcon or kraken, but can you use a rev through bore encoder as a remote feedback device for one?

The remote sensor filter feature of the Talon SRX/Victor SPX allows for the processing of sensor values provided from other remote CAN bus devices.

The REV Throughbore encoder is not a CAN device. It can, however, return quadrature-encoded signal, so could conceivably be wired into the data port of a CTRE controller (i.e. TalonSRX), and that controller could conceivably be used as a “host” for the remote sensor.

Ok that is kinda what I was suspecting may look into changing it over to can coder
