Thanks to the UTC Regional Planning Committee, The Blue Alliance was able to attend the 2007 UTC New England Regional and bring you coverage of the event! We talked to teams 40, 716, and 1099 about interesting features of their robots, and provided a strategy analysis of how the game was played. We were also able to interview Congressman Chris Murphy from Connecticut (Dean’s Homework worked!) about engineering in America and why it’s important for schools and corporations to continue funding FIRST. Friday was a huge snowstorm that force school boards to send some teams home early, and we talked to Woodie Flowers about the gracious professionalism demonstrated by other teams stepping forward to drive the snowed-out-teams’ robots so they could continue competing.
We just got a dedicated server donated to us by HostRocket, and we are currently in the process of moving over to it. I think it will be back up before tomorrow.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but at least your download will be blazing fast once we’re moved!
Great episode guys, and might I add, you look exceptionally spiffy. I also like the fact you’re using more cameras during interviews and it looks more organic and professional. Well done. Are we going to do a mega FIRSTcast/TBA again at Champs?
Well, with any luck everything should be fixed now. This is my first experience working with a dedicated server thats actually on the internets, so there were some peculiarities in making sure things work right. All of TBA-TV’s former matches should be, once again, running, and all of the episodes should once again be working. If anyone has issues, PM/IM me, and if it wasn’t serious enough for the server to TXT me, I’ll get on it ASAP.
