I set up a TBA webhook successfully and can receive “test” POST requests.
My question is how does it work in a real competition, I couldn’t understand this. Do I get a request for all events? Or only for events and/or teams I subscribed to on myTBA?
Also, what is the difference between favorites and subscriptions? Do only subscriptions send notifications?

You’ll only get webhooks for events that you’re subscribed to on this page, though you can click “Subscribe to all 2022 events” if you’d like to get webhooks for all events (affectionately known as the “firehose”)
You’re correct that favorites don’t send you notifications, only subscriptions do. From the myTBA page:
Favorites are used for personalized content and quick access.
Subscriptions are used for push notifications.
