I’ve got a few questions. And I’d find the answers myself but I have no cRIO near me atm and figured CD may be able to help.
Are the packets encrypted? Or are they plain text/numbers? Also, if anyone can get me a recording via wireshark of communications between the two, that would be awesome! I just want to play around a little bit.
I’d like to point you at https://github.com/ozzloy/frc-driver-station which contains some code for emulating a driver station. Although it doesn’t work with the 2012 images it should give you a basic understanding. What is your intent with this? If you’re interested in creating third-party libraries to say, create a mac driverstation, etc. It exists. Well the idea does. And if you’re interested in helping, send me an email. But yea, looking to just have fun with it really. I’ve found over the years that you get some great idea’s just playing around with the stuff. Thats what I hope to do if I get some free time.
