If ever there was a year to run mecanums…it was 2015. But this might be a good solid second.
This looks like one of 1102’s stronger machines! Can’t wait to see it [strike]at Palmetto[/strike] [strike]on the webcast[/strike] in match videos after the fact (sniffle).
I was scratching my head over the students love for Mecanum all season. Until last week. The kids know how to take advantage of mecanum very well from driving their Vex robots. Our driver is a certifiable mad man. I fully expect defense to be less of an issue for us than the typical mecanum sterotypes might peg us.
I haven’t had a chance to get a nice edited video together so here’s a peek at our non-velocity controlled testing of our feeder + shooter. We’ve already upgraded both to use Velocity control and we’re confident we can achieve higher BPS and retain accuracy.
