Team 1114 is sponsored by General Motors, Ontario Power Generation, Vykan, West Coast Products, Johnson & Johnson, Embark, The District School Board of Niagara, and Governor Simcoe Secondary School.

Simbot Scizor will be competing at the Georgian College and University of Waterloo District Events, The Ontario Provincial Championship (if we qualify), and the FIRST Championship.

Looks really good! Just wondering, how do you do your side panels with sponsors on them? More specifically that red/black pattern.

Swerve, one sided, pinchy claw.

What was the reasoning for game piece manipulator that involved no wheels?

Would not be surprised if weight and simplicity were factors

Simbot Scizor is probably the only robot in the game to make full use of the Technician. 1114 is always one of the most well-rounded teams, and I’m sure this thing can pack a Bullet Punch just as well as it plays an Iron Defense. This bot seems like an absolute Superpower, and I’m sure we’ll see it in the Uber tier real soon.

Easier to get done in time for week 1 theoretically , and weight was always a concern.

We’ll see if it stays on until week 4 or not.

I might be mistaken here, but this looks like white vinyl on black polycarb. The red pattern looks like an artifact of the LED glare.

Carbon fiber nylon and aluminum plates on the top and bottom of each one.
