What can I say…these Indiana rookies came in and they kicked some major butt this weekend. If it wasn’t for these guys in match 2 of our quarter, semi, and finals matches, our alliance would have had an earlier exit.
Their robot drove around herding the 5pt balls while holding onto the moble goal. THen they would top the goal off with the 2x cap they collected and every match they had roughly 10 or 11 balls in there! In the quarters, they held off a last second attack from one of our opponents because they were able to put our goal in the corner and protect it. All around brilliant strategy!
The FIRST world really has something to fear next year. These guys are truely something special.
Congrats to Team 1272 on their very successful rookie season and I am proud to say I come from the same state as them!!
