The “Full Metal Jackets” are raffling a car! The funds will pay for travel scholarships to offset costs for students who might not otherwise participate.

Legal stuff…

The Rockwall Robotics Booster Club is a charitable corporation in the state of Texas with IRS 501(c)(3) status operating at 2010 Industrial Drive Suite 602 in Rockwall, Texas 75087. The organization promotes STEM-related educational robotics programs in and near Rockwall High School in Rockwall Texas. The organization has been in continuous operation from 2003 to the present.

The prize is a 2021 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Fastback, Twister Orange with Black Roof and a 
Black Accent Package . One must be 18 years or older to enter. One need not be present to win. No more than 2500 tickets to be sold.  Ticket sales and drawing are audited by Chapman, Hext & Co., P.C..

The prize is selected on December 11, 2021 5pm at North Central Ford, 1819 N Central Expy, Richardson, TX 75080.

You can enter the raffle from the 1296 web site . Click on the car! If you win, I’ll drive it to you!

Alright, I signed up for 4 tickets.

Not saying anything about any specific team’s driving, but given what I see on the field at times, if I win, I’ll just come down and drive it back myself… :wink:

This comes with perfect timing for me. (My poor saab failed its inspection :disappointed_relieved:)

Hey! Saabs are great reliable cars, albeit hella expensive to fix when they do need it.

Great fundraiser idea and very impressed that this car raffle has been going for so many years. Kudos to all the volunteers involved.

What exactly is the range on this offer? That is, is delivery of the car actually included worldwide, or in the US, or continental US, or just Texas? Or would a potential winner actually need to travel to Texas to pick it up?

Just CONUS but sometimes you can make deals with dealerships to ship cars back and forth.
