I decided to post here and get some opinions about the site that I’m doing for our team.
I still have quite a few things to do on it, planning on developing some kind of news posting system so other members of the team can easily post news, and some form of members area for team members to check out events and chat with other members, etc.
That is one of the cleanest standards complient sites that still looks good that I have seen not-professionally made. Serious congrats.
My only suggestion would be to fill in the space below the banner image next to the login box on the home page. It’s filled in on all the other pages and looks a lot better, but on the home page it’s a bit of a blank that seems empty.
WOW, thats is an AMAZING looking site. However I would go about adding more content such as inspirational stories a journal maybe?
In the sponsors page when all the images load up part of the website goes below the black and gray borders so it doesn’t flush with the borders, maybe change the formatting of the borders?
Also you kinda have two navigation menus one at the bottom one at the top, maybe you didn’t mean to have two but the Team Forum link is at the bottom and not on the top menu.
Try and get your forums working asap
Other than those I can’t seem to find anything wrong with it aesthetically.
Good job
My only comments would be on the donations section. To make your site work for you while you are putting this section together, just add in someone’s name and contact information, or at least a school address. It seems unlikely that you will get this type of assistance through the web right away, but it never hurts
Oh and one more thing, maybe put in a link for a team mission statement. Even if just one or two of your team members draft one up, it gives the look that your team is together and has some sort of goal.
Really nice, great work. Only original suggestion I have is your footer is set just below the window despite all the empty space. I would bring that up where possible. The only other thing I have is with the FIRST logo, but thats already been mentioned.
