After a great deal of designing and difficult decision making, and lots of hard work, our students are ready to show you what they have. https://youtu.be/-bItWi9Jc0w Still have some work to do with ones and zeros but we are well underway. We will be competing in the North Carolina District. Good luck to all and above all have lots of hard fun!
I honestly don’t know how to respond to this.
Genius! This is probably the best drivetrain I’ve seen all year. It’s simple, but lets you do everything without sacrificing a compact swerve drive.
swank !
Nice! How much does that weigh?
This is the most unique drive train I’ve seen this year.
uhhh, what he said.
The base with both drives, all the controls and the Dart lift weighs in at 81 lbs. The Stinger and arms all the way down to the pivot weigh 29 pounds.
This is actually amazing
That’s ridiculous. I like it a lot!
Bold prediction - This robot will be on Einstein.
What and how many motors are you using for the swerve and the rhino tank drive trains?
10 motors total. 4 AndyMark gearmotors to steer swerve, 4 cims to drive swerve and 2 mini cims to drive tank treads.
Left me speechless after the first time I watched it had to replay it several times truly amazing love the swank drive
I love it!!!
Andy B.
Forget just this year, I don’t think I’ve ever seen something quite like this. This is the weird precipice between insane and innovative.
That is amazing!
This thing is wild, great job 1533!
all i have to say is: what
At first I thought this was a troll… but when I saw the actual robot I forgot how to breathe
