After a few requests, I’ll be leading a wiring workshop with The Holy Cows at our high school in San Diego. We’ve posted an interest form to see if folks are generally interested. It’s a free event held on Saturday, December 9 from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Lunch will be included.
Space is limited and each team is allowed to bring 4 people, one of which must be an adult mentor. We will be preferencing local teams initially.
We’ll be going over our team’s best practices/internal standards for the first half of the day. The second half of the day will be hands on lab time, allowing students/mentors to practice while being guided by our electrical team.
Would recommend any team that can make this to go. 1538’s wiring is always on another level, and the first team I point towards for examples when talking about electrical/wiring with our new students.
I jumped out of my chair when I saw this, we just finished the interest form. If it’s not too late and there’s still space, Team Optix would love to join yall!
I have permission from my wife to attend, please count me in. She may make it a weekend with me, but she understands I’ll be wiring on Saturday. See you there!
