Team 166 2019 Robot

Even though we’ve already competed twice this year, we have finally finished our 2019 robot, Hotline!

That’s the most interesting pocketing I have ever seen on an FRC robot. Reminds me of a giant VEX metal piece.

Thanks! We’ve been trying to incorporate more of our checkered theme into the robot and this was the perfect opportunity. Saved some weight and added some coolness factor, a double win in our book!

Stress risers in the corners under bending, and a very short distance for a crack to propagate. It does look neat, but conceptually, thats a naw from me, dawg.

We appreciate your concern but I can assure you that there is very little to no structural loss. We made a test piece before and ran a series of tests on it before we used it on our final product.

NOTE: the pattern is only on the arm and the static stage of our elevator.
Nothing else.
