Our team was grateful to have earned the Southwest Virginia Chesapeake District Event Entrepreneurship Award and Industrial Safety Award, the Bridgewater-Raritan MAR District Event Chairman’s Award, the Montgomery MAR District Event Engineering Inspiration Award, and the Archimedes-Daly Division Entrepeneurship Award - our 12th Entrepreneurship Award and third division-level award in a row. And of course, we were beyond honored to have been chosen by 2767, 254, and 862 to together win the final St. Louis World Championship.
Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us not just this season, but for all of our thirteen years. It’s been an incredible journey and we could not have done any of it without all of your continued encouragement and assistance. Above all, thank you to all of our amazing students, mentors, alumni, parents, and sponsors who keep pushing forward year after year. And special shout-out to Mr. Rip of 1477 - You will now forever be an honorary Pi-oneer.
1676 is truly an awesome team. The team in all my interactions as a volunteer and student has show them to be incredibly professional and overall down to earth. They are a team to model on and off the field. When going to find seats to watch Einstein I encountered a group of 1676 students, I went to say congratulations but before I even did that they all just started hugging and screaming. This was atleast 30 minutes after they won. Its truly awesome to see people so excited about anything and I was really pumped not only when they got to actually play with their bot on Einstein but when they won the whole thing. Keep up the good work and keep up the video archiving :). Guess posting Einstein finals this year meant a little more.
Thanks so much! And only 38 days actually - hope to see you at IRI!
Thanks so much for the kind words, Sam; that truly means a lot to us. I can assure you that random hugging and screaming is a common occurrence for our team, and it’s always our pleasure to archive our full-field footage, especially when the outcome is favorable for us ;).
