Team 1676 Scouting Network and Giveaways at the NJ Regional Competition

Hey guys. Im just wondering how many teams at the NJ Regional actually accessed the wireless scouting network we established and utilized it. Was it helpful? Did you find the data collected was the appropriate data/data that a team would want about a match and all the robots that participated? How can we make it better?

Also, how many teams found our autonomous switches helpful? If you used it please tell us and if you liked please let us know as well. We are deciding whether or not to make some more for our next regionals.

Lastly, were the instruction cards for accessing the wireless network and for using the dongles clear?

For all who dont know, we provided every team at the NJ Regional with an autonomous dongle (in our giveaway plastic baggy and its in each one for those of you who say you never got one;) ) that has 3 modes, autonomous, enable, and disable. It took us many hours to make all of them by hand!

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, as a writer of both just about everything in that giveaway and as a slave in making those dongles, it would be greatly appreciated if you let us know! Thank you.

I don’t believe we received a card for accessing the scouting network.

I remember logging onto my laptop and the scouting network was an option for local networks. The instruction card was in the plastic baggies 1676 handed out to everyone, but if you logged onto a laptop you could figure out what to do from there.

I glanced at the network for a bit, didn’t have that much downtime to go over everything. However, I really appreciated the goodybags. Excellent button design IMO.
