Traverse climb tilting telescoping arms and static spring latches
We are also proud to present our native Onshape CAD model and technical documentation. The CAD model is a working document. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Admiral and Blue Twilight will be competing at the Seven Rivers Regional, Midwest Regional, and the FIRST Championship in Houston.
Team 2220 is sponsored by 3M, Thomson Reuters, The Gene Haas Foundation, Winco Generators, and Eagan High School.
We’re looking to bring several upgrades with us to Midwest:
Many, many climber reliability upgrades (we basically tore the entire thing off and rebuilt it all with an eye towards mitigating the issues we saw at Seven Rivers)
Improved limelight mounts for intaking and shooting
Improved shooter speed control for faster and more accurate shots
Replacing our current network switch with a Zebraswitch-style implementation (thanks 900 for the excellent documentation and 4481 for the switch case design)
Most of these changes are visible in our CAD model now, and are in the process of physically appearing on the robot.
I just got around to posting this on printables for anyone interested in making it themself. It’s designed to also be the mounting nut. It’s also almost completely in-line to the breaker and designed to be printed without any supports.
