After seeing some of the mascots by teams last year our team,Team 25: Raider Robotix (known for their Hawaiian Shirts that can blind you if you get too close!) came up with a special tropical mascot for this year.
Mr. Volcano!!!
Yes, we are dressing up one of our team members as a volcano that will walk around with his band of island natives and give out buttons and other stuff for this year’s competition.
Right now we are thinking of making a pnumatic gun for him to shoot shirts out of! Like at baseball and football games!
The only problem is that we are afraid that the gun will have too much preasure and blow someone’s head off. If you have any practical ways for us to shoot tee shirts for a good distance with out pnumatics, we would love to hear them.

you can use pnumatics, just put an inline regulator between your power source and valve. Just like building a potato gun. Be sure to remember to lob your shots rather than fire at them. Ofcourse their is always the old pitch, which migth be the best idea considering hom crowded the regonials are.
btw: they are called aloha shirts, trust me.

Sling shot made from surgical tubing. Three people needed though. Two to hold the ends, one to pull back. Works at the Magic games.
