Team 2614 Marvin T Code Release

Mountaineer Area Robotics (MARS Team 2614) code for Marvin T (our test platform) is attached to this post.

Marvin T is a robot project we produced for a single control system that could be attached to multiple drive bases with multiple sensors attached. Its purpose is to provide an infrastructure for sensor experimentation and characterization as well as to investigate alternative control strategies.

As per our Beta Test agreement with FIRST, all our code produced during beta testing is being posted for public use. Therefore, this code will not be fully launch-able until the kickoff release.

MARS is happy to answer any questions that will help teams make use of this code…just as we have benefited from the gracious help of others.

Attached is an updated version of the Marvin T code. It works with files created by our motion profile JAVA application: Offseason Development of Autonomous Path Planner - Programming - Chief Delphi

It also implements feedforward and feedback motion control using the built-in features of the Talon SRX as mentioned in the Poof’s championship presentation on motion planning.
