Team 2861

This is what our robot looks like. In the current picture we have two highway patrols that are weighing our robot. It’s kinda weird because of the dials they use. But Each of those pads can hold 10,000 lbs and he was only 4 lbs off of our actual weight!

A little details about our robot:

It’s a four wheel drive
Our shooter is powered by two cims
Our elevator is powered by a fisherprice in its gearbox
Our arm it’s shown somewhat in the picture is just used as a ram and is picked up and down by a pg71

We have two auto modes consisting of driving up to the fender and either shooting at the top hoops or the middle hoops depending on where we start.

We are able to balance on the bridge very easily with another robot.

Any questions? Feel free to ask.

See you all at Minnesota 10,000 lakes regional and hope to see some Minnesota teams and the Minnesota championship!

Also we lowered our tower about two feet because at our practice event we tipped 3 times in 7 matches.

The dimple gearboxes were also changed out with tough boxes because we needed more power to turn the robot.

About 5 hours before bag and tag I redid the wiring on the robot and now practically all of the wires are hidden

Looks Nice! Can’t wait to see it in person.
