They were holding the trigger of the drill. In retrospect, duct tape would have been better, but common sense isn’t so common after midnight.
OSHA has done a lot of studies. Accident rates double after 8 hours of work, and I think they double again every 2 hours after that. By midnight, I am surprised the part was not in the vice and a guy was running around it with a file…

Man, I have no right to brag anymore. We have a ton of lathes just laying around. Two that work and 3 that almost work, all they need is new parts. Your bot is one of my favorites year to year.
