In 2017, Team 3309 the Friarbots constructed their robot Vulcan to play all aspects of the STEAMworks game, and this year has been the most successful by far for all of us!
Thank you to not only our sponsors, but our parents and students for making 2017 such a fun year for the Friarbots. We can’t wait to see what happens in 2018!
You guys were awesome, and I’m glad our team got the chance to partner with you on Hopper. Congratulations on all the success this season, and good luck next year!
Congrats on such an amazing season! Chairman’s, Deans List and a regional win all in one stellar year!
Thanks for all the help before and during worlds. Everything from helping us tune our shooter to letting us climb on your pit. I couldn’t be more thankful.
It was amazing to meet your team at Worlds and to pair up with you guys. Team 3309 loves getting the chance to work with strong, professional teams such as Up-A-Creek Robotics!
It was great meeting you and your team JJ. We look forward to seeing you guys at OC and other competitions next year.
Great job again this year friarbots!!! You guys keep getting better and better each year! We love competing with you! It’s amazing how far your program has come!
Though I full expect it from you as a fellow friar alum!
I’m very impressed with the controlled color correction, I didn’t see as many artifacts as I expected with that kind of editing, on most likely 4:2:0 footage.
60FPS is an interesting choice, but the slow mo looks good overall. I would never set the timeline to 60, but that is a personal choice.
You guys are lucky to have a solid media team, especially ones that have solid editing skills.
This is absolutely beautiful work. Bravo to you and your team - I have always loved the elegance and cleanliness of 3309’s robots, and seeing it in your videos makes it that much more awesome.
