As adam has hinted to team 401’s design for the drive is awesome. I am the captain of 825 and we are fairly close to 401 and they are generously helping us as we are rookies. I will not tell their design out of gracious professionalism or just plain respect but don’t think their robot will be outpulled once they use their secret weapon, UNLESS (hint to 401) their weapon is too heavy and more importantly the moment of inertia is too high (more likely) and the stall their motors out… but if everything works correctly then they will be a beast to handle!!! They are a force to be reckoned with so if you are in the richmond regional BEWARE and hope to be on their alliance.
Ahh Jonny, I blush. But if we don’t figure out a way to find certain Helical gears, things might be different. So, I hope that everything I have said and Jonny has is true. We’ll see.

They have a HUGE selection. They stock ZERO parts. They make them essentially as soon as you hang up the phone.
You can get “off the shelf” gears from them by 9 am the next morning if you call before mid-afternoon.
They have never not been able to meet my delivery schedule.
I have never used them for FIRST because they are expensive and this is only the second year that getting gears from any source has been legal.
They can make your gear if you really need it.
