Team 4099 is looking for new mentors to join our team for 2019 and the future. Our team’s mentor base has historically been very small, but we are looking to grow the team and improve learning opportunities for our students starting as soon as possible.
We’re looking for mentors with experience in:
- Strategic Design
- CAD
- Mechanical engineering (prototyping, manufacturing)
- Programming
- Control systems
- Electrical
- Media
- Business (grant writing, Chairmans, etc.)
- Other skills you think may be useful for our team
Requirements:
- Must be fun to be around

- Must be willing to engage the students
- Must be able to attend at least most weekend meetings during build season
- Must be able to attend occasional weekday meetings during build season
- Must be able to attend meetings regularly during competition season
Benefits:
- Getting to work with passionate students who want to learn

- Work with and learn from other mentors who have industry experience
Our team is located in Poolesville, Maryland. We’re 15 minutes from Germantown and 30 minutes from Rockville, and about 50 minutes from DC. We would love to see FRC alumni coming back to the program to mentor our team, but we are open to any industry professionals or college students (even without FRC experience) willing to volunteer their time as mentors for the team.
If you are interested in joining Team 4099, please email [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
