I am releasing the code from last year because I feel that if someone whats to switch to Python this year, the code might prove useful. I know when I switched to Python last year, I was having trouble getting certain things to work. Thankfully Chief Delphi was there when I ran into problems with the code.
Our bot was just the basic lifter with teeth in the front to latch onto the totes and cans. For the autonomous mode, the robot just drives forward.
I am the sole programmer of the team so the code is nothing noteworthy or even advanced, but I felt like someone could benefit from seeing it. I also wouldn’t mind getting suggestions for improving our code because that is a good way we can get better at programming bots.
