Team 4817 Custom WCD

Team_4817 - Pre / Season CAD Collection

After 6 years in a row of using the KoP, we finally got around to building a custom west coast drive that has a low profile / CG and doesn’t cost too much to build.

  • Much lighter than the KoP
  • roboRIO is protected and detachable
  • The CG is exactly in the middle

Front-wheel / Chain not attached in the image… Tested and proven to run reliably.

That looks really good, though i’d recommend using a bolt and washer to hold your shafts instead of shaft collars, it’s a bit lighter and a whole lot cheaper. Also, you can save a little space if you place your bumper mounts directly above the wheel, that way you can have a little more area to work with on the bellypan.

Also they might slip, we’ve had shaft Collars slip on drivetrains before
