Totally expected to see a “sponsored by IFI” in that. Well done.
This reveal video is just great!
Well done guys! Awesome video. See you next weekend!
Awesome robot! I love the use of the KOP Drivetrain – Have you made any adjustments to it besides the wheels?
Andymark tough box mini gear box, 4 falcon 500 motors, long configuration.
Nice! One upgrade I’d recommend, if you have time, is having a 1/2 inch outer diameter “sleeve” between your axle bolts and the spacers/bearings, and aligning weld nuts riveted to your inner plate, so you only need to remove the outer bolt to remove a wheel, and don’t need to fuss around with spacers – we’ve found that this makes wheel swaps a lot easier
A good chunk of 1712 just geeked out about the production value of this video. Absolutely crazy. Huge kudos to your video team.
Is that a 3 ball magazine I see?
Wow, looks great as always! The intro literally gave me the chills. Shame 1775 and 5013 won’t cross paths this year
We had a great debate on how beneficial having a 5 ball mag would be and one argument for it was that “everyone will have it”. It’s refreshing to see that isn’t true and with that accuracy you’ll be able to make enough cycles and point to make up for it. Great bot!
So sad we won’t be seeing each other this year! We’ll have some volunteers next week at GKC, though (myself included), and we’re looking forward to seeing y’all play!
Nice!
Love it!!!
Thanks for the support. Hope you do great at Greater Kansas City Regional. We have some volunteers helping out at Greater KC but our team’s local regional is Heartland.
That may be the highest complement on can pay a reveal video.
I love everything about this robot and video. Excellent work! I now have a new team to watch for in the Midwest!
Well, actually we should be able to hold a forth ball in the indexing area and we might manage to hold a 5th one in the intake if we decide it’s not to risky to drive with it extended. Not something we had ready for the reveal. 5 is like 4 times as hard as 3.
“Flying in in black and red”… Man you gotta love that paint job!
