Hello Everyone!

Berkeley Builds, 5419’s outreach arm is proud to announce our first annual series of Business Workshops! These remote workshops will cover the basics of the non-technical side of running a FRC team, with presentations tailored towards new and younger teams. These workshops will be held on Tuesdays at 7:15pm PDT via Zoom.

The schedule is:

Week 1 - Intro to FRC (Oct. 24)
Week 2 - Team Management 101: Admin Basics & Getting Competition Ready (Nov. 1)
Week 3 - Team Management 102: Build-a-Business-Plan (Nov. 6)
Week 4 - FRC Finance 101: Build-a-Budget (Nov. 14)
Week 5 - FRC Finance 102: Pitching to Sponsors with Rizz (Nov. 21)
Week 6 - FRC Finance 103: The Low-Down on Grants (Nov. 28)
Week 7 - Interviews & Awards: How to Talk to Judges (Dec. 4)

Week 5 - FRC Finance 102: Pitching to Sponsors with Rizz

It’s at this moment that I realized I’ve crossed the rainbow bridge from zoomer to boomer.

This looks great though! Very exciting for everyone who can attend! I can personally attest to Kelly and 5419’s awesomeness Will these sessions be recorded for those of us who can’t make it?

Yes! Recordings, slides, outlines, and covered resources will be posted in a public, shared drive for participants to reference.
