Mmmm, very nice. I like the way you use the frame. The people on this forum generally don’t like them, but I think this is a pretty interesting implementation of them. Not crazy about the Flash menu, but it’s good for what it is. Looks nice and is well-coded. I personally would refrain from using Flash as an essential function, but that’s me.
Looks great
A problem I noticed, when trying to load a skin via Nav-Bar->MISC-> New Skin… the new skin gets loaded into the content frame.
From:
[Night Header]
[Night NavBar]
[content]
[content]
[content]
[content]
[Night Footer]
To:
[Night Header]
[Night NavBar]
[Day Header]
[Day NavBar]
[content]
[Day Footer]
[Night Footer]
Also, I’m not too fond of the like CSS. When I havn’t clicked something, there is no underline. In the ‘Night’ skin, I can’t tell what is what. Text/Links
great web site guys!

Yeah, I noticed that too. You just need to set the target. It looks like you are switching styles via a small PHP script. That’s fine, but I’d like an alternate stylesheet provided
<link rel="alternate stylesheet" title="Night" type="text/css" href="whereveritis.css" media="all">
so I can switch it in my browser. It’s the kosher way to do things, and it’s helpful to 13371575 like me . Just a thought.
I like interactive websites. They make a website unique from other websites. The only problem is when people go overboard with them and try to show everything that they can possibly do. This is when some people start to get frustrated.
I think that is a great example of an interactive website. I didn’t get a chance to look at the navigation and the other pages though.
I am just recommending that you don’t add any more interactive stuff. There is a perfect amount and it works well together. Don’t go adding more stuff because it could begin to work against you. That is a very professional looking site. Good job.
By the way, any amateur web designers who need some hints or great web designers who want to argue my opinions, make sure you read my whole shpielle (not sure how to spell) on an idea I had. The thread is called “theory on IA” or something like that.
That’s a really nice sites. I like the night and day thing. I really like the way the picture page works. Very nicely done. And incidentally - when ever I see you guys (as I saw in the 2003 nat’s pics) I always go slack jawed. You have a huge team!
The menu is sort of annoying because I can’t tell at a glance all of the sections on your website… its not a huge issue though.
BTW: its not really night, more of an… early dusk?

I can’t see the difference between the normal and day skins.
I’m highly against frames, so I’m not going any furthure w/ that.
The night skin is pretty darn sweet which image program did you use to make the images?
Nice calendar also, got any resources for how you did it?
Overall: 9.5/10 (mainly from the frames, without frames, it’d be 9.9/10)

That’s because the “Day” skin is the default, or normal…
nice site… except…
i have no idea how to navigate through it. The REALLY annoying flash menu bar doesn’t let me click on anything
and yeah… that bounceing is really annoying… otherwise… nice
I think I fixed the Nav…
norm = day if you go during the day
norm = night if you go during the night
