  • 4 Banebot RS-550’s on the shooter in Double Doozys

  • Uses IR camera on Kinect in conjunction with a Beagleboard (small linux computer) to do rangefinding

  • Bridge lowering doubles as a gate to mitigate unwanted penalties from accidentily collecting too many balls

  • Will get into a pushing match with any other robot out there and win

  • First underweight robot in 6 years from Code Red

  • Named “Dr. Swoosh”

We will be competing at FLR and DC. See Y’all there!*

Are you actually expecting many pushing matches/defense?

Not near the key, but on the barrier. Though, looking through week 0 videos, they may be less likely than we had anticipated. Regardless, being able to push through other robots is always a nice utility to have!

Looks great! The RoboBees are looking forward to seeing you all in DC!

I must admit that the robot looks quite win this year. Seriously stoked for FLR.
