Sorry, I updated the Drawing Date information in the original post.
Drawing date is December 16th, at 7:00.
There is only 1000 tickets in circulation for this fundraiser. We felt those were reasonable odds. We didn’t get the segway for free, so some of the money is to recooperate the costs of the Segway itself.
In the fine print of your Segway raffle it says the owner must pick up the Segway at Segway Long Island and must also take a training demonstration before taking ownership. Are some of these rules being waived for people who can’t make it to Long Island or is there an updated copy of the rules?
P.S. I’m not trying to come across as picky but I just don’t know what to believe.
Originally, we were only thinking of doing this locally, and we wanted to express that the Segway will not be available for pickup that night, as the Segway Dealer wanted to make sure they received a demo before delivery. Now that we ar eopenning this up to the entire US, we have to be flexible.
As for Series, winner receives a brand new, yet to be picked iSeries. So yes you would have a color choice.
Also, the rules say the Segway must be accepted by someone over 18, does that mean somebody younger than 18, like me, could enter and have my parents claim it if I win? Or should I put their names on the ticket or what?
Correct, you can put your name on the ticket, but I would need to speak with an adult to ship and accept the prize. Legalities, nothing against those under 18
I’m sure a segway can be strapped to your roof as easily as a mini-chopper can!
Oh, and you have a paypal account now… That’s cool. Quick question (for anyone). I have never used paypal outside a standard online checkout. How do I go about sending payment to you through paypal?
Do I just enter your e-mail addy in the sender field in my Paypal control panel or whatever?
As soon as I figure out how to do this, I’ll be sending you my ticket cost.
Thanks!
(and I was the one that was all excited about a possibility of a paypal account being used… lol) I’m such a noob! :ahh:
