I heard a lot of things about your swinging arm becasue of chatsworth. I wish I could see it in person.
Since the Chatsworth scrimmage, we’ve implemented a limit switch to stop the rotation of the arm before it extends beyond the field boundary. We deploy, swing and stow the arm autonomously. The arm can be moved during manual driving time, but only in the stowed (5’ long) configuration.
These safety provisions were made to prevent “robo-phobia”.
