I’m especially impressed by how it can take a passed ball from the loading station. That could lead to some scarily fast cycle times.

Love the design and watching y’all this week! Would you mind telling what those cool green wheels are (Material, Size)? I’ve never seen anything like them in a flywheel shooter before. Thanks and gl @ Clackamas!
Those are green 35A stealth wheels (basically compliant wheels with a solid plastic core and a thin rubber coating)
Oh, interesting, and thank you. Did the flywheel rpm/compression drive the choice of wheel?
I can’t speak for 2471, but with soft balls like these, you want a hard wheel, and these are as grippy as compliant wheels with nowhere near the level of expansion under high rpms.
Definitely seems urethane with a solid hub and that big weight is a very solid option, allows for lots of freedom with rpm and good grip; it works beautifully here. My only concern would be glazing, but the wheels are cheap and easy to replace compared to something like colsons or a tight hub for fairlanes. Thanks again!
