This past June NASA held a competition at WPI for their now annual Centennial Sample Return Rover Competition. Team SpacePRIDE based out of Graniteville, SC was one of the competitors at this event. In fact competing against teams from universities across the country only team SpacePRIDE qualified for the competition at all. The team was headed up by a plastic machinist and robot enthusiast Chris Williamson, and other Engineer/software specialists from the local states. Currently the team is celebrating the recent Mars landing of “Curiosity” by holding a referral competition. I would love the help of the FIRST community in helping obtain the GRAND PRIZE of a Rhasberry Pi Linux ARM device, to help me out I need you all to visit team SpacePRIDE’s Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/SpacePRIDE and LIKE it. Then there is a photo that the voting for your referer takes place, http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=458257700866045&set=a.439068982784917.105080.438663876158761&type=1&theater
If the CD community could help me out in this, and support the robotics team I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
