Please welcome Team Thrifty, a group of hand-selected teams who have agreed to be our public beta testing squad! These teams have committed to testing our next generation of Thrifty products before they hit the market, a service both to Thrifty Bot and to the community, as once the products launch teams will be able to see their feedback. We want our customers to have the best possible experience with all our products, and we felt we have reached the point where we need to call in more hands to help battle test these products! Huge thanks to 7407 Wired Boars, 1706 Ratchet Rockers, 3015 Ranger Robotics, 2767 Stryke Force, and 1577 Steampunk! In total, these teams netted 13 blue banners last season! We are extremely excited to be working with such a prestigious group of teams moving forward!
So grateful to be a part of the team Sam! Excited to test out some of the new products!
Very cool to see another international team representing a vendor. I believe 1577 will be the first Israeli team to do so?
Will 2767 be moving to Thrifty Swerve?
No. We are actually no longer producing parts for Thrifty Swerve 1.1 except for spare parts. A lot of things would need to go right for a Thrifty Swerve 2.0 to come to fruition. It was quite the adventure while it lasted.
Just to add - we’ll get the website updated to reflect this as well. There are still teams who are running their Thrifty Swerves and we don’t want to have those modules become useless over time. Teams can always contact us at [email protected] if they need Thrifty Swerve support.
I’m proud of the work we put in to produce Thrifty Swerve. We learned a lot of what to do differently if we produce a V2 module and teams still have a lot of great options on the market with SDS and WCP making very solid swerve offerings.
Congratulations. Like you guys needed more help lol. Heartland is gonna be brutal next year.
Thanks so much for honoring us by asking us to be part of this alliance.

Cool, I would hate for such a cool and unique technology to go away. Sometime I would love to make it to 2767s build space and learn how you guys do it, in our quest to get better ourselves.
That isn’t a knock against thrifty swerve, we were going to look into it as a way to support some quality Midwest work. However, you made decisions and research easier for us.
