I thought I was pretty knowledgeable in Onshape, but I’m stumped.
Even though I gave a teammate Editing rights to my document he can view only. When he does the same, I can edit his Onshape files. Why?
We’re both using the Onshape Student license.
When you click the “Share” button in the upper right, make sure that who you have shared with is set to “Can Edit” and not “Can View”. Hopefully this helped, I’m still learning Onshape so I could be missing something.
Thanks, we tried that. But we found the problem.
One of our members signed up for a Free account instead of a Student account. Free account users can’t edit other people’s documents, even with editing permission.
