Times seem to be all over the place. I thought we were fast with about a 30 second climb to get there, now it seems like were on the slow end!
Curious to hear about how fast teams typically do it.

I think an optimized version of our Climb could get close to 10 seconds. I think our performance at our first event will be closer to 25-30 seconds. However strategically it makes sense to leave for the climb as early as 50 seconds remaining in the match. Climbs are going to win qualification matches in week 1 and there’s no reason to chance it.
Completely agree. Week 1 and 2 you’ll win matches alone on climbing.
Very nice! I think we could get another 5 seconds with some more optimized movements as well but we shall see.
Our fastest is 10 seconds exactly, but realistically we’ll be targeting around 20 seconds at our first event until we need to push the envelope faster.
man we are slow…
Wait, it takes longer than 5 seconds?
Not quite there but I am thinking 5-6
30s is just fine so long as it’s reliable! I’d rather have a partner that gets it every time, versus one that pushes the envelope really hard and falls off the HANGAR a bunch.

Agreed here, especially if you’re careful about alignment and ensuring you aren’t bumping into your alliance partners.
We will never miss and don’t swing. Which will kinda be our selling point to partners!
Very very happy with this roughly 20 second climb for Week 1. Hopefully it’ll improve with time, but mostly we just hope it works every match: https://fb.watch/bvh-cRP-2P/
That automated sequence is poetry in motion, especially when it releases the pivoting arms and dips down a touch to clear the bar before moving back up.
Thanks!
What is nice is its technically a 16 second traversal because at the end we are fully supported on the Traversal bar, and can just chill there if we wanted, but it keeps running to fully click into the bar.
We should be in the 25 second range once we have it fully automated.
that extra security on the bar might be needed!
I think we’re about 20 seconds, might be able to optimize that some
Currently in all manual mode we’re at about 45 seconds. I expect with some practice we’ll get it down to the 30-35 second mark and with some automation even faster.
10 seconds. Could be less if we push it. At events it will probably be closer to 15 or longer depending on match score.
We can get to high in 8s, and transversal in 18 - 20s. We are working on cutting out our double climb on the high which would save us 6-8 seconds getting to transversal.
We can get ours down to 10 seconds but currently it takes about 15 from start to finish
