Other than driving the robot of course
One of their functions is: standing behind the line during Auto.
We always give the driver control over the intake, since that ]usually works together with the drive subsystem to be effective.
So far:
Driver: Drive, E-Brake
Operator: Gear controls, climber controls
Operator controls everything that is not driving or aiming the robot
I agree, driver control’s intake. I don’t know that our operator will do very much this year. They will need to know all manual control’s in case thing’s go badly wrong.
Our driver moves the robot, operates the gear intake system, operates the gear placing device.
Our operator plays Snake on LEDs on our sidepanels using a hacked guitar hero controller. seriously, not kidding.
