Testing / programming limelight using robot simulation

I am trying to set up and test a limelight at my house, using robot simulation, and cant figure out how to do it. I am able to find the limelight using limelight hardware manager but I cannot access the webpage and when I ping the IP address, it returns “Request timed out.”. Not sure if I should be using a micro USB cable instead? Currently I have both my computer and my limelight plugged into my home network router. Thanks!!
