Thank you Team 3007 and 93! (Congrats to 2826, 1714, 2470)

Hi Team 3007 and 93!

This is Keehun, team 2502’s captain and I really wanted to give thanks. We were really shaky on Friday and as we started to really pick up the slack today (saturday), we were really grateful that we were able to be part of your awesome alliance.

We ran into more problems in the quarters than we did all qualifications and we are really sorry about that. Next year, we’ll be back with crab drive and a much more robust robot

Also, congratulations to 1714, 2826, and 2470. I knew this would be the powerhouse alliance. 2826, you are the best rookie team I’ve seen so far in short two years. We were really glad to have played in a regional with you guys.

Well, see you all back at Minnesota and hopefully Wisconsin next regional!

Thanks,
Keehun
Team 2502

Congrats to all the teams. I was also watching this regional along with Michigans CHampionship… ongratulations to 1714, 2826, and 2470 you guys did a fantastic job! hope to work with teams from this regional in the near future

Thanks to you as well 2502 and 93! I think I speak for our whole team in stating that we had a fantastic time in our rookie season and learned an unbelievable amount. It’s a shame that we weren’t able to move on to the semi-finals but the opposing alliance played very well and deserved the win. We look forward to competing next year as well.

I extend keehuns thanks to 3007 and 93 for picking us. It appears murplies law took effect on us this year several times.

We were replacing gearboxes on the first day and encountered more problems than we should have. Our joysticks worked backwards one of the rounds and then the PWM which fell out, and the gear which came loose when the 8020 popped off. I will take away some construction ideas for the future though.

Anything with high torque needs to be restrained better (the 8020 bar on the high torque cim for the lower brushes pulled the 8020 off the anchor fastener, we should have had a top one. And the electronics board was hard to get to.

As a mentor and coach for 3007, I want to say thank you also to 93 and 2502. This was the rookie year for team 3007 the RoboTitans. We were really happy with our position aftet the seating matches. We understand things happen and we learn from them. There are no hard feeling, just happy memories. We will be back next year and hope to see you there also.
