That's annoying.

No, I haven’t but that describes just about anything on disney, doesn’t it?

ACNE! i hate it! i get acne on my nose mostly. currently pretty bad.

and people who never accept things that are facts. (like how my sisters sedan has more leg room and smells nicer than my moms suv but my mom keeps saying “i dont smell anything” and she keeps saying the car is plenty big even though im much taller than her and our perspectives are different)

cars with no leg room. i have to sit there in my moms subaru forester for 12 hours to go on vacation and there is no leg room (my knees dig in to the front seat if i sit regularly) and my mom failed to consider the growth of a teenager when buying the car (25,000 dollars could have gotten her a much nicer vehicle.) and our last car was a nice 1997 isuzu rodeo, that was by far the best car for going on vacation, its deep roar could make you fall asleep and it smelled nice, not to mention the leg room in the back! but as soon as the alternator died my mom was like “we need a new truck! this one could break down” then she buys a subaru forester despite her being the only person who wanted a new car.

High School Musical series…need I say more?

when your laptop dies (it has officially died. the power connector has broken. so now i am in the market for a new laptop)

EDIT: wow… took all day of looking for a new 2.5" ide/ata drive enclosure and there was no luck in that. so! i got my laptop and took it all apart and soldered the power line directly to the motherboard and now it works. i guess eventually i will get a new connector and use that (xlr perhaps… any 3 prong connector that can take the power and current of a laptop) and it must be plugged in because the battery died years ago.

To comment on Kids on cell phones, of course its not a good thing to be doing either talking or texting, but adults, it is very dangerous for you as well to be talking on your cell phones while behind the wheel, regardless of the reason.

Here is a new one: People riding on motorcycles while texting. Saw a guy doing this the other day while going 60 mph without a helmet. To make it worse, he had a passenger.

It’s even worse if they’re texting their passenger.

Biting my own tongue. Did it today just after clocking out–ouch!

Lol, thats quite a feat. But not exactly smart, I don’t believe.

yellow turn signals, I can’t tell the difference between it being on or the sun reflecting off it, the red onjes are fine.

Bicycles. Sorry, I know many of you ride them…but they really annoy me. I know it is safety cautious to have a blinking light, but to have 5 of them is excessive and annoying. Not to mention when they expect you to pass in the country. Yes, I follow them slowly in the country for a distance. They usually want you to pass when they are on the top of the hill and you can’t see if someone is coming. Sorry, but I don’t trust your judgement, I need to see nobody is coming for myself.

I don’t know if this applies to everywhere. I know alot of people bike and don’t do these things. However, these are just a few things about bikes that annoy me.

Most organized night rides don’t like the blinking light either. You can’t really tell how far away someone is. So they pretty much say, use the blinker setting only if you have a problem.

What annoys me about bikes is how few riders follow the law at night. Taillight (at least in CA) is not required, but headlight use is. Guess how many use a headlight? (Yeah, and the typical wrong-way riders.)

miniature versions of already bite sized things…
m&m mini’s?
miniature marshmallows?
why?

People in cars who treat cyclists as if they don’t have a right to the road.

I only have one headlight and one taillight (though it’s an array of LEDs, actually); I agree that more than that is excessive. The blinking is a good safety feature for when you’re riding in, say, the evening or morning, when the light is sufficient to see by, but it gives the drivers something to notice you by. Often if the light is not blinking, it’s easy to not notice it. That having been said, when I ride at night, both my lights are on solid.

Now, on the whole passing thing: most cyclists I’ve talked to only do this as a courtesy to the drive because they’re under the impression that the drive wants to get from point A to point B as quickly as possible. If you don’t pass them, they usually don’t mind, as long as you’re not tailgating them. I myself never signal that it’s safe to pass because I don’t want that liability, and the driver probably doesn’t either…

Not being abel to figure out how to write a thread on this forum… help?

Go to the subforum you want to post a thread in. Near the top left of the page, there will be a button for “New Thread”.
