From what I’ve seen on the webcast, I’d tend to agree. It seems like people went for agility over power this year to maneuver closer to the rack more effectively.
501, 175, and 1824 just scored 316 to 0!! In the 2nd of their quarter finals at BAE. (they are the first seed alliance)
remember the 64 points you would get for having rows of three up. and then add a 60 for ramps…
A few nice wrap arounds today in the NJ Regional, mostly coming from alliances featuring Team 25. Also a nice spoiler by Team 359 on a wrap around!
Teams 375, 836, and 1676 had a wrap-around during today’s first match in New Jersey, with 1676 playing defense.
Amazing match, full bottom row and two on top of a ramp.
And the 7 rows of 8 equals 56 and add all that up and you get 628 points as a max score and if any team does that they would be my hero. and from what i saw it might be team 501. If they had more time.
That match was amazing, and made our alliance of 1474/500/1073 feel a lot better when they only beat us 64-8 in the finals…
1824 has a great ramp and 501 is an excellent stacker, but lemme tell ya, Buzz is going to generate quite a bit of eponymous activity at Nats…
GLR’s highest score so far…
Match 49 3:31 PM Red: 818,1114, and 280 vs. Blue: 451, 1701, and 57. Final Score Red:256 Blue:0.
Rawc (968) and Spyder (1622) two great scoring robots of the Los Angeles regional put up 260 points this afternoon.
589 1622 968 vs. 1070 1722 687 Final Score = 260-2
There was a 312 to 0 match in the Granite State Regional (MAnchester, NH)
two good scoring bots and a good ramp bot…
From FIRST’s Match Standings: (Great Lakes Regional)
Time/Red Alliance/Blue Alliance/Red Score/Blue Score
10:56 AM / 226 469 1114 / 308 453 1503 / 286 / 30 !!
Max Points -> 286
Saw that match, topped our 256 but still we had the highest to 0 score at GLR 256-0
yea that one stung
btw… scoring all 24 would be
256x3=768+(8(columns of 3)x8))=832+60(ramps)=total possible score of 892 points
BUUUTTTT… each team only gets 18 ringers, so not really all that possible
The highest score at FLR was only
9:44 AM 211 1567 768 639 1559 191 0 158
Since you get a maximum of 18 ringers and 3 keepers, you have a maximum of 21 tubes. If you can score all of these tubes, this will get you 2 rows of eight, 1 row of five, and 5 rows of three for (2256)+(132)+(5*8) for a maximum of 584 points. If you add 60 bonus points, you get a maximum score for this year’s game of 644 points.
Only Andy Baker can score more than 644 points this year. The flux capacitor and 88mph shifting transmission on his 'bot allow him to go back into the future and take three additional tubes from future matches. In autonomous.
you forgot about the three remaining rows of two that would be vertical, so add another 12 to that, thats how it =656 (or 596 without the ramps)
wasnt there a 266 or something like that. i wasnt really paying attention i think i was in the pits.
Man, finals match 2, we were about this close l . . . . . . l (quite literally) from playing a 3rd match. We almost shut you down!
Anyway, nice work everyone, it was great. congrats to the winners.
