The FTA sure got a laugh out of that. 
Double Fail at LAN Qual 48. First 207 almost takes out the head ref with a flying robot part. Then 3328 gets a red car for tiping over 580.
They engineered in crumple zones.
My team stripped out a stage of our gearbox while climbing in qual 80 of GNR. That was pretty weird. Nobody had seen it happen before, not even our mentors. We spent the entire time until our next match taking it apart and figuring out what was wrong.

Yeah, we got a three point penalty for it. (And we lost the match by 2 points)

We had a few fun ones:
Our robot aiming for the long shot, and going directly into the low goal.
We also had to re-machine and replace all our drive axles to not have eclip slot that was a weak spot, causing us to lose 3 wheels early on.
