My team, 8724, has made a mini strategy board! It was super fun at competitions! We had a lot of comments at the World Championship, so we made all the files available for everyone.
It is made to be attached to a white board for strategizing. Using the mini robots to display key moments in the match was helpful during auto and endgame discussions. The mini cones and cubes were used to show where game pieces were at the end of auto and general placement. This helped to plan the first several cycles of the match.
I remember hearing about this from our drive team. This is so cool. As potential drive coach (unlikely) and strategy lead, I will be lobbying the CADers to make one for us next year. This is so cool.
Edit: After looking at that second image again, I noticed that it was taken in my team’s pit! THAT’S SO INCREDIBLE!
This as super cool and I will definitely be 3D Printing, so thank you! I just have a quick question about how you made the mini robots, did you do those all in one print or did you do multiple and then fasten them together? As I am trying to make a mini version of my teams robot and am wonder which would be best. Thanks!
