The Blitz is a GO!!

PUMP UP FOR THE MOST COMPETITIVE EVENT OF THE SEASON!

And at 1:00 pm Wednesday afternoon I walked slowly to the Dean’s office expecting horrible news… when at last, the altimatum slips past his lips;

You get me 36 teams… and I’ll bring you the BLITZ!

Emails will be sent to your team leaders as soon as I can hook up my computer to the internet at my house. Registration information is yet to come. Cost will be $300 (and I’ll let you on a little secret… 36 x 300 is only two/thirds the total cost . This will definatley be a quality event!)

Can you tell I’m excited???

  • You should be too

Teams on the Priority registration list will be given two weeks head start on registering… help me spread the word, team leaders will be getting emails next week.

For teams on the list… registration will be via email [email protected] opening up at 8:00 am June 16th, 2003.

General registration will open 8:00 am on July 1st.

As usual… more information to come. Emails will be sent soon. (I know it’s not fair that Cheifdelphi Junkies are the first to know… but this is a quick way of communicating)

SWEET

Congratulations for getting permission for Beantown Blitz, I am sure it wasn’t easy convincing the deans to hold it.

My sister attends NU, and I believe that it is a really good place to host any type of FIRST competition (official or off-season). However parking is going to be extremely hard to find, and a bus is not the best thing to bring into Boston.

Hope to see everyone there, and I think that this competition will be a success.

Yayi cant wait to go.

There is a lot of parking in the NU garages, but we may limit teams to a certain number of vehicals. Logistics are still being worked out, but you wouldn’t need to worry about parking.

It wasn’t a matter of permission… it was a question of if we could afford it. Today we found out we could (that was the holdup)

Date is August 16, 2003
MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!!

Yay, hopefully I will be there :stuck_out_tongue:

We will so be there. I just hope i can get the time off of work.
