Lately, I’ve seen all kinds of really cool robots, both mechanical and software. Every time I see a robot like this, it’s really interesting to understand the concept behind it and see it compete.
I wanted to hear from the smart people on CD, what are the coolest robots you’ve seen come onto the field, in recent years?

8044-2024 robot looked great and it shot even better.

Basically anything 330 did was a unique and cool way to play the game.
They are far from the only ones that make/made super unique bots, but they were phenomenal at it.

469 in 2010 will always be the coolest for me. And having a chance to play with them in the playoffs at IRI later that year was an amazing experience.
We didnt even take a photo with our own robot, instead theirs.

despite going down as one of the most boring frc games to watch and play, 2015 has some of the coolest and most creative robot designs i’ve ever seen. here are two of my absolute faves
