The Crescendo Cooper Quick Reference Sheet

People ask me for this every year, so now I feel obligated to make it. (Not that I mind.)

:point_right: As of Team Update 11: CrescendoQuickReference.pdf

Some caveats and notes:

  • This tries really hard to fit on one sheet of paper, focusing on things a referee might want to reference (penalties and manually-scored items).
  • Because it crams everything onto one sheet, some might find it hard to read (though I managed to get the main text up to 8 pt font this year), along with a bunch of abbreviations that are defined in a separate table.
  • Obviously read the actual manual for any details; this is just intended to help remind you of things you’ve already read in the manual, for the quick “is that a foul or a tech foul again” kind of check.
  • I make this primarily as a tool for myself to be able to study the rules, and occasionally to reference at an event. I highly recommend people make their own study tools rather than just copy mine, to arrange things in the same way your mind does instead of the way that my mind does. (Though apparently there are enough people who think similarly to me that there are people asking me for my sheet every year.)
  • I make this in LibreOffice Writer; if you want the source document to use this as a starting point for your own changes you’re more than welcome to download it:

Please give me feedback, especially if I missed something or there’s something that could be improved. Thanks!

Sheet looks awesome!
Definitely works better than finding the penalties in the game manual.
Maybe you can add the amount of points for a normal Foul and a Tech foul (couldn’t find them in the sheet yet)

Oh! I don’t know how I forgot that this year; usually I’ve included it. I’ll include it in my next revision, which will probably be with whatever Team Update 02 brings us this weekend. Thanks for the feedback!

Updated for Team Update 11, assuming my understanding of the change to G410 is correct and that assessing a TECH FOUL now requires the action to be both REPEATED (more than once in a match) and “subsequent during the event” (only for matches after the initial verbal warning was given). Wouldn’t shock me if this gets clarified further this season, either through Q&A or via yet another team update trying to make the wording clearer.
