Did i see correctly that one of the teams this year is from Brazil?!?!?!?. Talk about expansion, also we now have a team from Alaska and Hawaii. Looks like the program is expanding.
Good Luck,
Andy Grady

With this large amount of teams, how do you think it will affect qualifying and practice times. Will we not get time to practice? Will we be qualifying till 1 in the morning??

I bet there will be about 250 at the nationals. I remember hearing somewhere that FIRST and Disney might have 4 stages this year. If they have 4 stages I think that gives more time to qualify and more practice time. If it is the same set up as last year we might lose a little qualifying and a little practice time. Happy Hollidays to everyone

that also depends on whether FIRST decides to continue on the alliance system of doing things. Last year there were 2 stages, the year before, there were 3. Anything could happen.

Figure how expensive it is to go to the nationals I doubt that all of them can afford the trip

Everyone, if Moe is right…then its a sure sign of the Apocalypse!!! Repent, the end is near!!
But seeing as how there’s already more than 372 teams registered, I’m afraid that Joe may be wrong.
My guess is that when it’s all said and done…there will be 373 teams!!!

I am so glad that I am on a team with an easy number…
just think, one day there might be a team 1,224,635.

hopefully the juggernauts will hang around to keep that #1.

be thankful for your single or double digit team numbers!!
