The importance of fouls this year

Since the max scores are so low how much more of an impact will fouls have this year?

I think they will be a little more important this year, escpecially with tiebreakers. Keep in mind too that violating some rules in the “G” section will result in RPs being awarded to the opposing alliance.

Note that fouls are 3pts this year, tech fouls are 10. Frankly, I’m not thinking fouls will be all that common given the restrictions on defense this year.

I think it will encourage teams to have more caution when on the playing field. They could definitely make the season interesting though.
