Hey all! decided to do some digging around in the archives to found out which regions and districts are most “championship needy” in 2025, as my home district of New England is approaching its 15th straight year without a title. This is purely a list that others can use for documentation, speculation, or whatever you want pertaining to your region getting a championship this season. Gaps separate decades.

Three Wisconsin teams have won their divisions, two one match away from winning worlds. They are:
930 Mukwonago BEARs (2019)
2194 Fondy Fire (2012)
2826 WAVE Robotics. (2015)
Some have come close to winning, but are so far from winning it all.

It has felt like New England has been really strong for a while now, especially the past few seasons. Hopefully someone breaks this in 2025. Kind of a shock because I haven’t thought about it.
